Please Pray!

Hi all!

We would just like to ask you to pray for us, we definitely feel like the enemey is attacking right now. It seems that all our efforts here are being undone. We're having some issues with some of the people here at Ebenezer. We were able to have a meeting with everyone tonight which helped a lot. But please keep us in your prayers that God would give us the wisdom and patience we need to handle each situation.

Tonight at Bible Study, Satan was certainly attacking! There were people laughing, yelling, and carrying on while we're trying to worship and read God's Word. It was just very difficult and discouraging! So please keep us all in your prayers! Thanks so much!

Oh, and one more thing. We had asked for prayer concerning the Crisis Intervention Program that we were going to be starting this week. Well those plans kind of fell through. Not enought children showed up to make it worth while, so we are not going to be doing that this week after all. Just thought we'd let you know that. God is definitely teaching us how to have flexibility! Each day we must let go of our own agendas and wills and exchange them for what God has in store for us. So continue to pray that we would remain flexible and willing vessels that the Lord can use.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. We love and miss you all!

God certainly has His plans and His ways, and they CERTAINLY never seem to make sense at times. Going on trips like this are all about learning how to hang on to God as He takes you on the craziest rides of your life. I'll be praying for you guys! If you keep your eyes on Him, He'll make sure that everything falls into place.

Love and PRAYERS!! :)

I have been following the blog from Barcelona, and have been greatly encouraged by your example to others of your faith and service for the Jesus you love. 1 Tim 3:12

Reading about your spiritual attack is all to familiar to those who are in service for the kingdom. However, be encouraged, that you are worthy to be attacked by the enemy! It is evidence of the the work you are doing as Jesus goes before you. You are under His protection, nothing our foe can do but distract servants from the work at hand, which I find in my walk is what he seems to do best!.

What I have learned to do, and I see is what scripture says to do in these situations, is get my mind on the promises, encouragement and praises of the Word. Psalm 57:4-6, note verse 5 and where it is placed between these verses. Also I find comfort in Psalm 143.

Reading about your daily journey is a blessing to me as I am away from home as well. Thank you for doing this blog, and be assured, my thoughts and prayers are with you. And for us both, nothing can separate us from the love of God, let us rest in that.

Blessings,
Tom
